Thank you so much for your services during our wedding last Friday, June 11, 2010.  You did a fantastic job in keeping our guests entertained the entire evening.  Everyone danced throughout the entire reception, including myself and I don't normally dance a lot.  I have received so many great comments about your services.  As a matter fact, my wedding planner, Rashida Ferebee also said that the DJ I selected did a wonderful job!
 
I must admit, I was a bit concerned about the various types of music that would be necessary at our wedding due to the diverse cultures that we had invited.  However, when I saw folks out on the dance floor halfway through the dinner hour I felt at ease.  The rest is history, everyone stayed on the dance floor.

DJ Jose, from Avalon Entertainment, was a fantastic MC and DJ. We gave him lots of latitude in song selection, and he did a great job of tastefully engaging the guests and keeping the party going. He also had practical, fun suggestions for making the event uniquely ours. You can also trust Jose to keep the event in control and on schedule. We didn't have to worry about a thing!

I can't say enough about Avalon Entertainment. DJ Jose went above and beyond for our wedding reception. He provided ample sound when we had to use two rooms for dining and dancing, providing wireless mics for speeches, great music and also by keeping us on track throughout the night. He was professional and worked well with the other vendors. But mostly, he had the guests at our wedding up and dancing the entire night. Best DJ! Best Equipment! Best Service! Best Music! Best Accommodations! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was extremely pleased with my DJ, Jose. He really listened to what I wanted and had some great ideas of his own. He is very professional but also very fun. Everybody danced all night, from the flower girls to the grandparents. Jose really made my wedding special and unique!

I highly recommend DJ Jose Castro. He was easy to work with, he was flexible and most importantly he knew what he was doing. On my wedding day, things didn't work out the way I planned. I ended up arriving late to an already short reception, but DJ Jose Castro made it work perfectly. He made sure that he played everything I asked for and he helped the whole thing run smoothly. DJ Rich Barreto is a superb DJ, He has played at several occasions for me. The first engagement in which Mr. Barreto was the disc jockey was for our wedding and reception. Of course this was an extremely important day for me and Mr. Barreto was perfect. He was prompt, professional, and very easy to work with. Mr. Barreto proves himself to want to accommodate the customer. He has a wonderful selection of music that caters to the client and to the event. I so much look forward to working with him in the future.

DJ Jose Castro made himself available as often as needed to discuss our music choices and the schedule of ceremonies to make our night magical. Additionally when our solist cancelled at the last minute, he was able to suggest options for us that made the night even more memorable. He was responsive and very good at reading the crowd. This was a difficult task admittedly as the guests varied widely in age and background. He was simply terrific and we were blessed to have him as our DJ for the night. Jose Castro was a great DJ. He was very professional, easy to work with, understanding of personal situations, and provided lots of guidance. He consulted with our other vendors to ensure a smooth and uneventful wedding. Jose helped put our minds at ease during a hectic time; the one thing we knew we didn't have to worry about was the DJ. I was extremely pleased with Avalon's services for my wedding reception and cocktail hour. Our DJ was professional, fun, and able to adapt to last minute changes. The musical library is vast and when one song was requested that was not in the library, the DJ gladly downloaded the song, free of charge.

Avalon Entertainment and DJ Jose is the best DJ I have ever worked with. He really knows how to get everyone out on the dance floor. He has a wide varity of music and skills. I have never been disappointed by him and I have been using him for 15 years. I recommend him to everyone who needs a DJ. He cares and it really shows in his work.

Jose was very professional and kept my wedding day special he kept me on point on what was to happen next so that my every wish was met with plenty of time he kept our dance floor popping every one said what a wonderful time they had we had had all different type of music we wanted played at our wedding and he was able to meet that need our wedding was country and western but we also want top 40 and some oldies played it was a great day I have been to wedding were all the DJ did was just play music Avalon knows how to inter act with the people and keep the bride and groom on point as what's next in a very professional and friendly way and the price was well worth it They work very closely with not just me but with my quest as well for all there special requested dedications . Avalon Entertainment is a well-respected company that I would recommend to anyone that is in need of a DJ and looking to create the perfect party atmosphere. DJ Jose was not only the DJ at my wedding reception, but at my sister’s as well. After spending so much time with him we feel like he is part of our family! DJ Jose is very easy to work with and quite accommodating. His website makes planning the reception a breeze and he allows the customers to choose the songs that they prefer, to make dedications throughout the event, and to even designate songs that they don’t want to be played! He has an extensive music library and will even go to lengths to find songs that you want to hear that may not be in his collection. Jose truly cares about his customers and is willing to work with them 100%. We not only enjoyed his music, but we enjoyed getting to know him as well. He is able to adapt to the mood of the crowd and he definitely knows how to get the party started. He is not a DJ who will talk a lot during the reception nor will he try to play silly wedding games that many DJs often do. He is a down to earth guy that is passionate about his job. We were so impressed with his professionalism and superb performance at my sister’s wedding reception that he was a “must” for ours! The exceptional services that DJ Jose provided were worth every cent of what we paid. I would be willing to do it all again because it’s the one element of party planning that you can be sure is going to be done, and is going to be done well. DJ Jose helped create the wedding memories that we still look back on and smile because we know it truly was one of the happiest days of our lives!

I knew I wanted a DJ for our wedding, but I was leery of show-offs, cheeseballs, and attention hogs who thought that since they were the guy with the music, the reception was all about them. But as soon as I spoke with Jose Castro of Avalon Entertainment, I could tell he wasn't like that. He was calm, professional, and just a nice guy, offering suggestions about how my input could make his job easier but ultimately letting me decide. In the days up to the wedding I was distracted and didn't devote lots of attention to the DJ, but Jose was the kind of professional who could be trusted to do a great job even without my input. I hadn't specified what kind of dinner music to play, but Jose came up with a mix of classy 1950's jazz that was perfect. When it came time to dance, he played all the 80s favorites we had requested but, when he noticed how the older members of my family really dug Motown, he gently worked that into the mix so everyone could enjoy. And when he accidentally played "Over The Rainbow" during the cake cutting (I forgot to tell him my mom has a Wizard of Oz phobia) he smoothly changed it without incident and saved the day. Bottom line is, of all the things I had to worry about during my wedding day, Jose Castro of Avalon Entertainment was not one of them. I highly recommend his services.

Jose Castro of Avalon Entertainment is an awesome DJ. He djed our outside wedding and reception perfectly. The ceremony music was perfectly timed, the introductions for the reception entrance were exciting and correctly pronounced, the music restrictions (no foul language) were followed, guests felt comfortable talking with him, he coordinated and managed all aspects of the reception brilliantly (special dances - including a very complicated father-daughter dance because of having 3 fathers! -, toasts, everything), and he was quite attentive to all of my nervous-overly-controlling-bride-details! My husband and I enjoyed Jose Castro's services so much, that we have been booking him every year since for our annual church/community dance. This dance is especially challenging because the age and music style vary greatly among within the group; Jose Castro works this dance wonderfully also. I very highly recommend his services.

I want to thank DJ Jose for the wonderful job he did for our wedding reception! His work was absolutely amazing! The music was just perfect through every aspect of the evening.
